About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for overseeing site investigations, analyzing soil mechanics, providing foundation design recommendations, and ensuring the stability and safety of earthworks and structures. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, including site characterization, sampling, and laboratory testing.
• Perform detailed geotechnical analysis for foundations, slopes, retaining walls, and earthworks.
• Develop geotechnical design reports, specifications, and risk assessments for various infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the interpretation of site data and provide expert recommendations for ground improvement and stabilization techniques.
• Ensure all geotechnical designs comply with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes, and industry best practices.
• Manage client relationships and provide technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders remotely.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering , Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status (e.g., CEng P.Eng) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 7 years of specialized experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability analysis, and numerical modeling.
• Proven ability to manage complex geotechnical projects independently and remotely.
• Excellent report writing skills and strong communication abilities for remote collaboration.
