About the Role

Our client seeks a seasoned Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead their specialized geotechnical team in Bradford . This role involves providing expert technical input on a wide array of projects, from foundation design for major structures to slope stability analysis and ground improvement schemes. You will be responsible for managing geotechnical investigations, interpreting complex data, and delivering robust, cost-effective engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver geotechnical investigations, including site supervision and risk assessment.
• Perform complex geotechnical analyses , such as slope stability, settlement, and seismic assessments.
• Design foundations, retaining walls, and ground improvement solutions.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, specifications, and recommendations.
• Provide expert advice to clients, project teams, and regulatory authorities.
• Mentor and guide junior geotechnical engineers and geologists in their professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
• Significant experience (8+ years) in geotechnical engineering practice.
• Proficiency in geotechnical design software (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio, FLAC).
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and site investigation techniques.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
