About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Grant Writer to spearhead their grant acquisition efforts. This remote position is crucial for securing the necessary funding to sustain and expand our client's vital services. You will be responsible for researching potential funding sources, crafting compelling grant proposals, and managing the entire grant lifecycle from submission to reporting. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the non-profit funding landscape, allowing them to effectively communicate our client's impact and needs to a diverse range of foundations and governmental bodies, all from a remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with our client's mission.
- Write, edit, and refine high-quality grant proposals, applications, and supporting documents that clearly articulate project goals, objectives, and budget requirements.
- Manage the grant submission process, ensuring all deadlines are met and all requirements are fulfilled accurately.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with program staff to gather necessary information for proposals.
- Track grant outcomes and prepare timely and accurate reports for funders, ensuring compliance and demonstrating impact.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in grant writing , with demonstrable experience securing significant funding.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into persuasive narratives.
- Strong research skills and the ability to identify and evaluate funding opportunities.
- Familiarity with grant management software and databases.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Public Policy) or equivalent professional experience.
