Senior Graphic Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Senior Graphic Designer to join their vibrant creative department based in Cardiff . You will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and executing visually compelling designs that elevate the brand across all touchpoints. This position demands a high level of creativity, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of design principles and current aesthetic trends. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and editorial teams to translate complex ideas into clear, impactful visual communications, contributing to a culture of design excellence and brand consistency within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and design solutions for a variety of marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, website elements, and print collateral.
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in tone and visual identity.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project briefs, objectives, and target audiences.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Provide art direction and mentorship to junior designers and external agencies as needed.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design output.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Graphic Designer , with a portfolio showcasing a strong range of design work.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience with digital design principles, including web and mobile UI/UX considerations.
• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to non-designers.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
