About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join their dynamic marketing team in Aberdeen . This role is pivotal in shaping the visual identity of the brand across all platforms. You will lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring all visual outputs are engaging, on-brand, and meet strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing significantly to campaigns that resonate with our target audience and elevate the company's presence in the Scottish market. You will work closely with marketing managers, content creators, and external agencies to bring creative visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute high-quality graphic design solutions for digital and print media, including brochures, advertisements, social media graphics, and website assets.
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all visual communications.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling visual designs.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and delivering exceptional results in a hybrid work environment.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to foster their professional growth.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design output.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer , with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects and demonstrating proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Experience working in a collaborative team setting, with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles is a plus.
