Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced models and simulations for grid stability and power flow analysis, particularly for integrating renewable energy.
• Assess the impact of new energy technologies on grid performance and reliability.
• Design and recommend technical solutions for grid upgrades and enhancements to accommodate distributed energy resources.
• Collaborate with national grid operators, energy providers, and technology developers on integration standards and protocols.
• Provide technical expertise on grid codes, regulatory requirements, and interconnection standards relevant to the energy industry .
• Contribute to research and development initiatives focused on smart grid technologies and energy system resilience.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in power systems engineering, with a specialization in grid integration or renewable energy connection.
• Strong proficiency in power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, PowerFactory DIgSILENT, PSCAD).
• In-depth knowledge of grid codes, interconnection standards, and ancillary services for electricity markets.
• Experience with energy storage systems, electric vehicles, and other distributed energy resources (DERs).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions.
