Key Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time power grid operations and identify potential instability or outages.
- Analyze historical operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance grid reliability and resilience, particularly with increasing renewable penetration.
- Collaborate with system operators and engineers to forecast demand and manage supply-demand balance.
- Prepare reports and presentations on grid performance, operational risks, and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in power systems operations, grid analysis, or energy market operations.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills , with proficiency in tools like Python, R, or MATLAB.
- In-depth understanding of power grid dynamics, control systems, and renewable energy integration challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork in a remote environment .
