Our client is looking for a talented and creative Senior Hair Stylist to join their chic salon in the vibrant city of Brighton . This role is perfect for an experienced stylist with a passion for all aspects of hairdressing, from classic cuts to contemporary colour transformations. You will be expected to provide exceptional client consultations, deliver high-quality styling services, and potentially mentor junior members of the team. We are seeking a professional who understands current trends, possesses excellent technical skills, and is dedicated to providing an outstanding client experience in a stylish and supportive salon environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert hair consultations, assessing client needs and offering personalized styling advice.
• Perform a full range of hairdressing services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments for diverse hair types.
• Utilize advanced colouring techniques, including balayage, highlights, and all-over colour application.
• Maintain the highest standards of client care and service, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable salon experience.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
• Assist in maintaining the salon's cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance.
• Potentially guide and train apprentice stylists on salon techniques and client service standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a qualified Hair Stylist.
• Proven expertise in creative cutting, colouring, and advanced styling techniques.
• Excellent client communication and consultation skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse styling and colouring work.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced salon environment.
