Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electronic hardware from concept through to production.
- Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Perform hardware testing, debugging, and performance validation.
- Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Manage relationships with component suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Stay current with emerging hardware technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive experience in hardware design, including digital and analog circuit design.
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD).
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and FPGAs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers in a remote setting.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
