Senior Hardware Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Hardware Engineer to join their fully remote, innovative product development team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of high-performance electronic hardware systems.
• Select and evaluate electronic components, including microprocessors, memory, FPGAs, and analog/digital circuits.
• Develop detailed schematics and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts, collaborating with PCB designers.
• Oversee the prototyping, bring-up, and testing of new hardware designs.
• Perform rigorous hardware validation and verification to ensure product specifications and reliability targets are met.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Mentor junior hardware engineers and contribute to establishing best practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with a strong focus on product development.
• Proven expertise in designing complex digital and analog circuits.
• Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro) and schematic capture.
• Deep understanding of hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware development, and interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, DDR).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for remote collaboration.
