Senior Health, Safety & Environment Advisor – Construction Projects, Civil, Marine

Based in Immingham | Salary up to £65,000

As a Senior Health, Safety & Environment Advisor, this role offers the perfect blend of construction projects and ongoing site works within a marine and civil engineering environment. We’re seeking an experienced HSE construction professional to lead on health and safety from the design stage right through to handover. You’ll work closely with the design, project management and construction teams to help keep everyone safe on site.

What you’ll be doing

As our Senior Health, Safety & Environment Advisor, you’ll be:

• Advising on health and safety throughout the project lifecycle

• Supporting CDM 2015 duties, design reviews and risk assessments

• Visiting project sites to carry out inspections, audits and contractor reviews

• Helping teams manage high-risk work, investigate incidents and put improvements in place

• Sharing your expertise through briefings, coaching and constructive challenge

What you’ll bring

For this Senior Health, Safety & Environment Advisor role, you’ll need:

• A recognised health and safety qualification, such as a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent

• At least five years’ experience supporting construction projects

• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and contractor safety

• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites

Experience in ports, marine construction or another high-risk industry would be an advantage for a Senior Health, Safety & Environment Advisor working in this environment.
