About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Architect to lead critical projects within their award-winning design studio, operating on a fully remote basis. This role requires a visionary leader capable of designing and managing the delivery of complex, cutting-edge healthcare facilities across the UK. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and delivery of major healthcare projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with national standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement innovative design strategies that prioritize patient well-being, staff efficiency, and infection control.
• Manage and mentor a remote team of architects and designers, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Engage directly with clients, clinical stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met and exceeded.
• Oversee the production of high-quality technical documentation, including BIM models and specifications.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Architect with extensive experience (10+ years), with a deep specialization in healthcare architecture .
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale, complex healthcare facilities projects in the UK.
• Expert knowledge of healthcare building standards (HBNs, HTMs), infection control, and medical planning .
• Advanced proficiency in BIM software (Revit) and leading remote design teams using digital collaboration platforms.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and client management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward effectively in a remote setting.
