About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Helpdesk Technician to join their hybrid team operating out of Nottingham . This role is critical for providing advanced technical support to end-users, managing IT infrastructure issues, and mentoring junior technicians. You will be responsible for resolving complex technical problems, ensuring system stability, and contributing to IT strategy and implementation. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, escalating to third-level support when necessary.

• Mentor and guide junior helpdesk technicians, providing training and support.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and security.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, with a significant portion in a senior or lead role.
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA) are highly desirable.
