About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Advisor to join their fully remote HR team, supporting operations across the UK, including their key hub in Reading . This role will provide comprehensive HR support and strategic advice to line managers and employees, focusing on complex employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation. You will be instrumental in ensuring consistent application of HR best practices in a virtual environment, contributing to a positive and productive remote workforce. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to leverage their expertise in a remote-first organisation, driving HR initiatives and supporting staff nationwide, including those based near Berkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on complex employee relations, performance, and policy matters.
- Lead and manage significant employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and redundancy procedures.
- Support and advise on talent management, succession planning, and performance improvement programmes.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, legally compliant, and effectively communicated across the organisation.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of HR projects and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Foster a positive employee relations climate and promote best HR practices within a remote working context.
Requirements
- Significant experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, with a strong background in employee relations.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and mediation skills.
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) is highly desirable.
