Senior HR Advisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Senior HR Advisor to join their dedicated HR team based in Coventry . This role is crucial for providing comprehensive HR support to employees and managers, ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and promoting a positive employee relations environment. You will be a key point of contact for HR queries, contributing to policy development and implementation, and playing an active role in various HR projects within the West Midlands region. The position requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional HR service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative advice and support on complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
• Manage and advise on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding.
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives, such as performance management systems and reward strategies.
• Conduct HR investigations and mediate disputes to achieve fair and timely resolutions.
• Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for management review.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a Senior HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
• Proven ability to manage complex ER cases with a high degree of professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise effectively.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for record-keeping and reporting.
• A CIPD qualification is preferred.
