About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and proactive Senior HR Advisor to join their established team in Coventry, West Midlands . This role is crucial in providing expert HR support and advice across the organization, focusing on employee relations, policy implementation, and talent management. You will work closely with HR colleagues and management to ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and fair working environment for all employees in the Coventry area. The successful candidate will be a key player in developing and delivering HR initiatives that enhance employee experience and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Advise line managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring consistent application.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
- Ensure HR data is accurate and maintained within the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Conduct HR audits and ensure compliance with current UK employment legislation.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR Officer role, with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse HR caseload.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- CIPD Level 5 or above qualification is essential.
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment is preferred.
