Senior HR Advisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to employees and managers, with options for remote work from Bristol . This role is key to ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, managing employee relations, and supporting talent development initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor, offering expert insights on complex HR matters and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. This position offers autonomy and the chance to make a substantial contribution to our client's HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and support on complex employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Guide managers on performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with current UK employment law and best practice standards.
• Lead on HR projects and initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Develop and deliver HR training sessions to employees and managers as required.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Generalist role.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, including employee engagement and talent management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively, including in a remote capacity.
• CIPD Level 5 or above qualification is essential.
