About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead their Human Resources function in Leicester . This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of HR operations, from talent acquisition and employee relations to compensation and benefits, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and fostering a positive workplace culture. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR policies and initiatives that support employee growth and business success within a dynamic and evolving organisation, working closely with senior leadership to drive HR excellence and contribute to the company's overall mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and procedures across all HR disciplines.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and retention efforts.
- Manage employee relations, addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Administer and review compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, promoting professional development and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with all UK employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar senior HR role, preferably within the UK .
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
- Excellent understanding of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
