Senior HR Officer

About the Role

Our client seeks a proactive and experienced Senior HR Officer to contribute to their Human Resources function in Cardiff . This role is instrumental in supporting the HR team with a broad range of HR operations, including employee relations, policy development, and HR project support. You will act as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR matters and ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to managers and employees across various departments.
• Lead on employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling.
• Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Support the HR Business Partner in strategic HR projects and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of HR training and development programmes.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a Senior HR Officer or similar HR generalist role.
• Thorough understanding of UK employment law and best practices in Human Resources.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• CIPD qualification or working towards it is advantageous.
