About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly capable and experienced Senior HR Officer to lead key HR functions for their operations in Southampton . This strategic role will involve managing complex employee relations cases, contributing to HR policy development, and driving initiatives that enhance organisational culture and performance. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and redundancy procedures.
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
• Lead on talent management initiatives, including succession planning and performance management frameworks.
• Provide strategic HR advice and support to senior management on organisational design and change management.
• Oversee and contribute to the recruitment and selection process for key roles within the organisation.
• Mentor and support other members of the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in a senior HR role, with a proven track record in employee relations and HR strategy.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
• Demonstrated experience in talent management, organisational development, and change management.
• Excellent leadership, influencing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and data analytics to drive HR decision-making.
• Chartered CIPD qualification is essential.
