About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly competent Senior HR Officer to join their HR department, operating on a hybrid model with a base in Stoke-on-Trent . This role requires a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and practices to support both strategic and operational HR functions. You will play a key role in managing employee relations, overseeing HR projects, and ensuring the consistent application of HR policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and compliant workplace culture, while offering expert advice to managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a broad range of HR activities, including employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Advise and support line managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Lead on disciplinary and grievance investigations and processes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Support the HR team in delivering effective HR services across the organization.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a Senior HR Officer or HR Advisor role.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations cases.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS).
