Senior HSE Advisor - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HSE Advisor to join their fully remote team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a robust safety culture throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems tailored for remote and dispersed operations.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential workplace hazards.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental spills, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK and international HSE legislation and industry standards.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs and awareness campaigns to all employees.
• Act as a key point of contact for HSE matters, providing expert advice and support to management and staff across various locations.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in an HSE role , preferably within the energy sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures .
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and reporting skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote work environment .
