About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior HSE Advisor to strengthen their Health, Safety, and Environment team within the demanding Energy sector . This hybrid role is crucial for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive HSE strategies and programs across various project sites and operational facilities. You will provide expert guidance, conduct audits, and foster a robust safety culture to ensure compliance and minimize risks. This position requires a safety professional who is adept at balancing remote planning and reporting with essential onsite assessments and engagement, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide HSE training and guidance to employees and contractors at all levels.
- Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company in HSE matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HSE professional, ideally within the energy industry .
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong auditing, investigation, and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, with regular travel to operational sites required.
