Senior HSE Advisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior HSE Advisor to join their team in Nottingham . This role is critical for ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance across all company operations within the Oil & Gas sector. You will provide expert guidance, develop and implement HSE policies and procedures, and conduct audits to ensure compliance and promote a strong safety culture. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
• Provide expert advice and training to management and staff on HSE matters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international HSE legislation and industry standards.
• Manage environmental impact assessments and promote sustainable operational practices.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Substantial experience as an HSE Advisor , preferably within the Oil & Gas industry .
• In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, risk assessment techniques, and safety management systems.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
