About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives for their offshore operations, working remotely. This senior leadership role is critical for ensuring the highest standards of safety and environmental performance across all offshore assets. You will develop and implement strategic HSE policies, manage risk, and foster a strong safety culture throughout the organization. This is a vital position within the Oil & Gas industry , offering the opportunity to influence safety practices at a strategic level and drive continuous improvement from a remote-first perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE management systems for offshore operations.
- Oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international HSE regulations and industry standards.
- Lead and mentor the HSE team, promoting a proactive safety culture across all levels.
- Manage emergency response planning and preparedness for offshore facilities.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE management, with a significant focus on offshore Oil & Gas operations .
- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective HSE strategies and management systems.
- In-depth knowledge of offshore safety regulations, risk management techniques, and incident investigation methodologies.
- Relevant professional HSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or HSE management.
