Senior HSE Manager

About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting a proactive and experienced Senior HSE Manager for a fully remote position. This role is paramount in establishing and maintaining a robust Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) framework across their global operations within the Oil & Gas sector. You will lead the development and implementation of HSE strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with international standards and fostering a strong safety culture. This remote leadership position requires exceptional communication and organizational skills to effectively manage and influence teams without direct physical oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the company's HSE management system and policies.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels.
• Manage environmental compliance and promote sustainable practices.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on HSE matters.
• Drive a positive safety culture through engagement and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE management, with significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry .
• In-depth knowledge of international HSE regulations and best practices (e.g., OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective HSE strategies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated success in managing HSE remotely and fostering a strong safety culture across dispersed teams.
