Senior HSE Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior HSE Manager to lead their Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK, with a central focus on developing and implementing robust HSE strategies across the organization's operations. You will be instrumental in fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, and driving continuous improvement in environmental performance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's overarching HSE management system .
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs to all levels of staff.
• Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all national and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Promote a positive safety culture through engagement, communication, and leadership presence across remote teams.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE management , preferably within the oil and gas or industrial sector.
• Professional qualifications such as IOSH (Chartered) or NEBOSH Diploma are essential.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of environmental management principles and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders remotely.
