Senior HSEQ Manager

About the Role

Our client seeks a strategic and experienced Senior HSEQ Manager to lead their Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality initiatives across their operations, based in Norwich, Norfolk . This vital role involves developing and implementing robust HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance, minimize risk, and foster a strong safety culture throughout the organization. You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement in HSEQ performance, working closely with senior management and operational teams in this key regional role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's overall HSEQ management system .
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs for all levels of staff.
• Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across all company sites and operations.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSEQ management , preferably within the energy or industrial sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of HSEQ legislation, standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and best practices.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, accident prevention, and emergency response planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
