About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK . This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various client sites. You will be responsible for overseeing installation projects, troubleshooting intricate issues, and providing expert technical guidance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems , including boilers, chillers, air handling units, and controls.
- Conduct thorough site surveys and prepare detailed technical reports and project specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Manage a small team of technicians, providing training, mentorship, and performance oversight.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards, health and safety regulations, and building codes .
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or similar role, with a strong emphasis on installation and maintenance.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC engineering or mechanical engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of various HVAC systems, control strategies, and energy efficiency principles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to fault finding.
- Valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel to various client locations in and around Aberdeen .
