Senior Industrial Automation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Industrial Automation Engineer to join their expanding operations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of automated systems, including robotic cells, PLCs, and HMI interfaces.
• Develop and implement PLC programming and control logic for various manufacturing processes.
• Oversee the integration of new automation technologies and equipment into existing production lines.
• Troubleshoot and provide remote technical support for complex automation issues.
• Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses for proposed automation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers in their technical development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in industrial automation engineering.
• Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Strong knowledge of robotics , servo systems, and vision systems.
• Proven ability to manage complex automation projects from concept to commissioning.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and remote communication skills.
