Senior Industrial Door Engineer - Leicester
£35,000-£45,000 + Overtime + On-Call Bonus
An established industrial door specialist is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Door Engineer to support installations, servicing and repairs across Leicester and Leicestershire.
This is a senior position requiring a minimum of five years' experience within the industrial door industry.
Responsibilities
Install, service and repair industrial doors and associated equipment
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Complete electrical work safely and accurately
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
Read technical drawings and electrical schematics
Complete electronic job sheets and service reports
Identify and accurately report additional works
Support and guide other engineers on-site
Work safely at height and handle heavy equipment
Requirements
Minimum five years' industrial door experience
Strong electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability
Experience installing, servicing and repairing industrial doors
Confident using hand and power tools
Comfortable working independently and leading work on-site
Good communication, measurement and basic IT skills
Full UK driving licence
CSCS, IPAF and DBS certificates are desirable
Package
Basic salary of £35,000-£45,000
Enhanced overtime rates
On-call and callout payments
Company van and fuel card
Tools, uniform and PPE provided
Free on-site gym
Regular overtime and occasional lodging-away workMost work is based across Leicester and Leicestershire, with occasional travel to projects further afield.
