Senior Industrial Engineer - Logistics

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Logistics and Supply Chain to join their team in Liverpool . This role will focus on optimizing the flow of goods, improving warehousing operations, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the supply chain network. You will lead complex projects, analyze logistical data, and implement innovative solutions to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and increase customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in logistics operations and a proven ability to drive significant improvements in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize all aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations in Liverpool .
• Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts, material handling systems, and transportation strategies.
• Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to identify bottlenecks and improve inventory management.
• Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations, ensuring targets are met.
• Lead cross-functional teams on projects related to supply chain efficiency, cost reduction, and process automation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong focus on logistics and supply chain .
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Logistics and supply chain optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) , transportation management systems (TMS), and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience with advanced statistical analysis and simulation software.
• Excellent project management and leadership capabilities.
