Senior Industrial Engineer - Manufacturing Excellence

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes within the Edinburgh facility.
• Lead the application of Lean, Six Sigma, and other advanced manufacturing methodologies to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
• Design and re-engineer production layouts and systems to enhance efficiency, safety, and ergonomics.
• Manage projects focused on implementing new technologies, automation, and process upgrades.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and production teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a proven track record in manufacturing environments.
• In-depth knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma (Black Belt certified strongly preferred), and Kaizen.
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
