About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineer with a focus on Operations to join their team in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex operational improvement projects, from conception to completion.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of inefficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Develop and deploy lean manufacturing techniques and process optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain departments.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering best practices and continuous learning within the team.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting systems to track operational progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , with a strong focus on operations and process improvement.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in using simulation software, CAD, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams.
