Senior Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Engineer to drive operational excellence and strategic process improvements within their facilities in Oxford . This leadership role involves analyzing complex manufacturing and logistical systems, developing innovative solutions, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality. You will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, working with cutting-edge technology and methodologies to maintain a competitive advantage in a demanding industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale process improvement projects across multiple operational areas.
• Analyze manufacturing operations, supply chains, and logistics to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement strategies for lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Utilize advanced simulation and modeling software to test and validate process improvements before implementation.
• Oversee the planning and execution of facility layouts and material flow optimization projects.
• Mentor and guide junior industrial engineers, fostering their professional development and ensuring high project standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of professional experience in industrial engineering, with a strong track record of leading improvement initiatives.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing principles , Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), and project management.
• Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic), data analysis software, and CAD.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead cross-functional teams, and drive significant operational changes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
