Senior Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production methods and identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and systems to enhance efficiency and throughput.
• Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analysis, and resource planning to optimize operational layouts.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics, reporting on key indicators to management.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues and implement solutions.
• Champion lean manufacturing principles and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the plant floor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably within manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Proven experience with process optimization techniques, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Proficiency in CAD software for layout design and process simulation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
