Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of manufacturing processes, workflows, and operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Design, develop, and implement efficient systems and strategies for production, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Utilize advanced statistical analysis and modeling techniques to predict trends, resolve bottlenecks, and enhance overall performance.
- Create detailed process maps, simulation models, and technical documentation to support engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality assurance, and management, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the remote team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process improvement and system design.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software, simulation tools (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic), and data analysis platforms (e.g., Minitab, R).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders effectively through virtual channels.
