Senior Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing industrial processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement using data-driven methodologies.
• Design, develop, and implement new production systems, workflows, and layouts to maximise throughput and minimise waste.
• Conduct detailed time and motion studies , capacity planning, and resource allocation analyses.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and performance metrics to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project management , from concept to implementation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and operational teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial engineering or a similar role.
• Proven experience in process optimisation , lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools, such as Arena or ExtendSim.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to lead change initiatives.
