About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . This role is pivotal in optimizing complex production systems, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across various manufacturing and processing facilities. You will play a key role in analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of optimized manufacturing processes and systems.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
- Create detailed process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and technical expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering roles, preferably within the oil and gas or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven expertise in process simulation, data analysis, and statistical modeling software.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and project management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Proficiency in CAD software and ERP systems is highly desirable.
