About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Senior Industrial Engineer to join their established team in Liverpool . This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing and logistics operations through the application of engineering principles and innovative process improvements. You will lead key projects, analyze complex data sets, and implement solutions that drive cost savings, improve quality, and optimize resource utilization across the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of manufacturing systems, production lines, and material handling processes.
• Conduct comprehensive time and motion studies, workload analysis, and ergonomic assessments to improve efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement strategies based on Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, forecast needs, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with production management, engineering teams, and supply chain partners to achieve operational goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools, process mapping, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with simulation software and advanced data analysis techniques.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and effective communication abilities.
