About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Industrial Process Engineer to join their esteemed technical team in Reading . This critical role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes and systems to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation. You will be responsible for complex process analysis, problem-solving, and guiding project teams to achieve ambitious operational goals. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in process engineering, a strong understanding of modern manufacturing technologies, and exceptional leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and optimization of complex industrial processes, from conceptualization through to full-scale implementation.
- Develop and deploy state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
- Conduct in-depth process analyses, root cause investigations, and implement robust corrective actions.
- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, operations, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of new processes and products.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial process engineering, with significant project leadership responsibility.
- Deep understanding of process simulation, statistical analysis, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
- Expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative, data-driven solutions.
