Senior Information Security Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs from various sources (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoints) to identify potential threats.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents, including root cause analysis and containment strategies.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures to ensure a timely and effective response.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices across the organization.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to proactively enhance defenses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security roles, with a focus on incident response and threat analysis.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
