Senior Information Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses across various IT systems and applications.
• Develop, implement, and manage security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, investigate potential breaches, and coordinate response activities.
• Design and deploy security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
• Provide expert guidance and support to IT teams on security best practices and secure coding principles.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats and security technologies, recommending and implementing proactive defense strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security roles, with a proven track record in threat detection and incident response.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Proficiency with security tools including SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
