About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Information Security Analyst to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . This critical role involves safeguarding the organization's digital assets and ensuring compliance with stringent security policies and regulations. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust security strategies, identifying potential threats, and responding to security incidents with speed and precision. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Monitor security systems, such as firewalls , intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM tools, for potential threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into system design and development lifecycles.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in information security , risk management, and incident response.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and best practices.
• Proficiency with security tools and technologies, including SIEM , IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
