About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Information Security Analyst to join their dynamic and expanding security operations team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to play a critical part in safeguarding sensitive data and systems from evolving cyber threats. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing robust security protocols, contributing directly to the overall security posture of the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies and policies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Manage and monitor security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing remediation plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all system lifecycles.
- Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, providing expert advice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in information security roles, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
- Expertise in security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with incident response , digital forensics, and malware analysis.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
