Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive information security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and events, investigating potential incidents and coordinating response efforts.
- Analyze threat intelligence to anticipate and mitigate emerging cyber risks affecting the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all systems and processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in information security , with a focus on threat analysis and incident response.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), network security, cryptography, and cloud security principles.
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
