Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security weaknesses.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor security alerts and incident response activities, leading investigations into security breaches and recommending remediation actions.
• Design and manage security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of system design and implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in information security , with a strong understanding of threat landscapes and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Demonstrated expertise in security incident response, digital forensics, and penetration testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in managing and configuring various security tools and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
