Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive information security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Monitor security infrastructure, analyse security alerts, and respond effectively to incidents.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure security requirements are integrated into system design and development lifecycles.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff across the organisation.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to proactively enhance defence mechanisms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in information security roles, with a proven track record in threat analysis and incident response.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), risk management principles, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
