Senior Information Security Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Information Security Analyst to join their dynamic team in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Monitor security alerts and events, responding promptly to security incidents and breaches.
• Implement and manage security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security is integrated into all system development lifecycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security roles, with a focus on security analysis and risk management.
• Strong understanding of common security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Proven experience with SIEM tools , vulnerability scanning, and incident response procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts clearly.
