Key Responsibilities

• Lead threat hunting initiatives to proactively identify and neutralise emerging security threats.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents, providing detailed reports and remediation plans.
• Develop and refine security monitoring rules and alerting mechanisms.
• Manage and optimize security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection tools.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the overall security strategy.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on security best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an Information Security Analyst role, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
• Expertise in analysing security logs, network traffic, and endpoint data.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, and attack methodologies.
• Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, and other security operations tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications like CISSP or GIAC certifications are highly valued.
